Adobe Illustrator is a powerful vector graphics software that is updated regularly with new features and tools. As of my knowledge cut off date which is 2021, some recent features that were added to Illustrator 2020 and 2021 versions include:
Adobe Aero integration: Illustrator now has the ability to integrate with Adobe Aero, which allows you to create and publish AR designs.
Adobe Fonts integration: Illustrator now includes the ability to access and use Adobe Fonts directly within the software.
Global editing: Illustrator now includes a global editing feature, which allows you to make changes to multiple instances of a symbol at once.
Enhanced vector networks: Illustrator now includes enhanced vector networks, which allow for more precise and accurate shape creation.
New brush types: Illustrator now includes new brush types, such as the Pattern brush and the Bristle brush, which can be used to create unique and interesting designs.
Improved performance: Illustrator now includes improved performance, which allows for faster and more efficient workflows.
More options for working with text: Illustrator now includes more options for working with text, such as the ability to create text on a path and the ability to create variable fonts.
Improved SVG export: Illustrator now includes improved SVG export, which allows for better compatibility with web browsers and other applications.
It is likely that Adobe will continue to add new features to Illustrator in the future.
